Welcome!

Welcome to my learning spaces blog. I have always want to start a blog that was focused on technology and teaching. So this is it. I hope to bring in real life examples and give everyone a glimpse of what it takes to get technology into the classroom. I have three major projects that we will be following through the end of the summer. We are remodeling our large science building (Trafton) and Ostrander Auditorium in our student union and planning our summer upgrades and new technology installations. I plan to share my experiences with these processes in order to offer insight into what it actually takes to get technology into the classroom. I also expect my readers – yes, you - to share your thoughts and ideas through your comments. There will also be some fun aspects to this blog as I am a gadget/technology geek and spend much of my time researching new technologies. I will share some of what I find and how I think it could change education for good or worse.
